St.
John Vianney encourages its students to develop in character
and personality through a wide selection of extra-curricular
activities. A sense of duty and service is fostered
through participation in the following: Altar Servers,
Boy Scouts, Brownies, Girl Scouts, Junior Police Officers,
Yearbook Staff, Student Council, Geography Club and Mathcounts. Growth in athletic
ability and sportsmanship is promoted through our membership
in the Catholic School League. Boys and girls in grades
five through eight are invited to participate in volleyball,
basketball and track. Girls and boys in grades four
through six are eligible to participate in the Christian
Schools Basketball and Volleyball Leagues. St. John Vianney has an active halau for grades two through eight: Halau Ka Pa Hula Lei Hulu Hiwa.
